The tripod's design is good. However, the selection of materials and finishing is, at best, sloppy and mediocre. The depth of the head of the screw holding the column is greater than the pads of the tripod's base; so that anything mounted on the column will wobble if the base is touched. Likewise, the ball and socket mount at the top of the column is only roughly functional.
