I bought this unit back in May of 2016. And I now have a second unit I bought in Jan. 2017. My reason. The specs on the mics are a generous 20 to 20k HZ. I don't have any lab equipment for testing these specs, but I record a lot of pipe organ music with my Panasonic camcorder. And these condenser mics do an incredible job in the 30 to 100 HZ range. This is a great unit! However I discovered that while the output to the headphones is stereo, the line output combines the stereo mics into a mono signal. I could have bought something else, but I reasoned that a second unit would become a left channel, and my first unit a right channel. The mono outputs from each unit goes into a Y adapter via two 3.5mm female to male RCA plugs. The Y adapter out put is a stereo 3.5 mm plug into a stereo line for my camcorder. It now receives a true stereo signal. I have great control over input levels. Both units are mounted side by side on a light bar. They can be on their own tripod, are separated on wider supports for greater separation. I will be using this for future You Tube videos. I'm a happy customer!
