I had previously given them a bad review and I was surprised during this period of time when a vendor comes searching for you to make it right but they had proven to me they are a great company. They told me they’re a small American based company and they care about every sale they make. They really proved themselves to me in a BIG way. First, I complained the cam didn’t connect properly. They didn’t argue – right away, they were ready to replace it or work with me over the phone. I work a lot of hours and had a hard time connecting with them – no problem, they centered all their efforts around me. I could not believe what they did just for me – one customer. When we did get it running properly, it was not an issue of the camera – it was just a bit tricky to get connected. So the product was fantastic, the customer service I have never seen before – not even in my own company. If I could find employees this dedicated, I would be the happiest Director alive – thank you guys! And, look – if anyone at all thinks this is a phony review or a plant – feel free to contact me personally. I will gladly attest to it in person. One more thing – I was so happy; I bought a second unit. Great product, Fantastic customer serviceI've tried far cheaper Chinese products that work great for awhile then malfunction and/or literally fall apart in a few months. I've had this for awhile and it continues to work quite well. The picture quality is comparable to what you'd get from a modern high end cellphone. It's fairly easy to setup and the push notification and remote viewing features work flawlessly. Most impressive is the battery life. It really does last months on a single charge. The only minor drawback I've noticed is that the motion detection is rather hyper sensitive. Even on the least sensitive setting it will, on occasion, send a notification about the slightest change in ambient light. Other than that, it's basically perfect and well worth the investment.UPDATED: 4-14-20 If I could give them 10 stars if I could. The battery will last year, I just called their service department and the staff was very cordial replaced the battery with no problem.I had my house robbed, so I've bought a lot of these hidden camera products. This one is worth the price. The fact that you don't have to plug it in and runs on a battery is a major plus. I've had this product for about 2 months now. I've never had a problem with the Yi Eye APP, the playback, the quality. So far, it hasn't broken down. I have bought some other hidden camera products, but they don't function as smoothly as this one does. It was a good purchase for me. I do recommend it.Very easy set up and has worked flawlessly since. Seems expensive but if it keeps performing as it has so far, I'd say it's worth every penny. Bought an extra higher capacity battery and it's great to have to swap out while the other charges. Also have 2 micro SD cards so I can take my time to transfer the videos. Only negative thing I have to say is the night vision is grainy, but at this price point I can't really complain.At first we had a problem connecting it to the wifi! Which turned out it was our fault! Reading directions wrong! We called the help line, and Scott was very nice, patient, and friendly! Within seconds we got it working! And it's great!! Thank you Scott!! ?I am really happy with this camera. The quality of video vs the amount of memory used is impressive. I expected it to use far more memory. I have had it wired up with direct power and use the app on a tablet and it works really well. Once installed, I haven't had to make any adjustments or anything. I was unsure about a couple things and reached out to customer service and they were amazing. Very responsive and helpful.It works very well, with good image and very stable. THERE IS A LITTLE DIFFICULTY TO SYNCHRONIZE THE CAMERA, BUT IT MAKES A LOT OF HELP FROM SELLERS. THEY NEED TO IMPROVE THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE SENT WITH THE CAMERA, ALSO A VERSION IN SPANISH.IT DOES NOT DETECT SMOKE AND IT DOES NOT HAVE MICROPHONE.The tech support I received from Scott was clear and concise. He was very patient and spent as much time as was needed to walk me thru the process to get my WiFi camera up and running. Very satisfied with this product and especially the USA based support!
