At this price point the Moman monopod is a a great value in my opinion. I’ve only had this monopod for a few days and have used it with my Sony A7III with a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens and it handles it well. It does not include a tripod head, but you can attach any ball head, pan head or fluid head that has a 1/4 inch -20 or 3/8 inch thread as it includes a reversible 1/4 inch - 3/8 screw with the universal mounting plate. The build quality is good enough and for an aluminum monopod, I find it be very lightweight. I was pleasantly surprised by that. The ball joint at the base of the monopod works great allowing me to rotate and tilt it with extreme ease. I also like that they include a rubber buffer and metal spike (the spike works great for when shooting out on fields I.E. Soccer games). I’ve included photos of it at it’s minimum height of 18.5 inches and also a photo of it at it’s maximum height of 65 inches, which for me is more than enough. While it was sturdy enough to leave my camera on it by itself, I would not recommend leaving the camera on a monopod unattended. I am not crazy that it has five extensions, but I can work with it, however I do like how easy you can unlock the legs and get setup really quickly. The locks are dust sealed which is great for when shooting outdoors. It’s great for event photography or videography, helps stabilize your camera to get the shot really well. They advertise the maximum weight capacity as 22 pounds, but I would recommend using this with lighter setups. Overall, I am very pleased with this monopod I’ll give it a 4.5 stars, I like how lightweight and compact it is, perfect for traveling too. This is a great addition to my gear kit and I’ll be bringing this along everywhere. I’ll update my review if anything changes.I was hoping for a sturdier monopod, this is my 1st monopod, and I have 3 tripods. I guess it's not fair to compare it to a tripod, and I can't compare it to another monopod, but the tubes do flex significantly. I manly bought it to take some of strain on my hands though from holding the camera at events, so for that purpose, it's fine. But it certainly can't be used in place of a tripod, and I'm not even sure if it's any more stable than me properly hand-holding the camera, but at least it'll support some weight and make it easier on my arm.I wanted a sturdy support without the bulk of a tripod. This was perfect.Firstly, the photos and everyone using it has the small point at the bottom while the large point is what your device is sitting on; for me, I simply swapped the folding feet and the nut for devices so the thicker part is on the bottom while the thinner poles are on top. It makes for much better balance if you’re trying to walk away from this thing using a lightweight device such as a gimble or smartphone. The quality is so so so good! You can feel it when you hold it. It doesn’t feel like anything cheap or knock off. It’s heavy in a sense but only in a good way, not heavy in weight but , in a sturdy type of way. It’s definitely a fantastic selfie stick, the included tri-folding feet are engineered very well, and overall yes, get this monopod if you’re looking for a jack of all trades extension pole.I purchased the Moman monopod tripod for tripod base. At the time of purchase I already owned several tripods and two monopods with a rubber foot. I had been wanting a monopod with a tripod base and the Moman showed in my recommended and I pulled the trigger. I really like this monopod. The ease of use, lightweight and sturdiness make this my immediate grab anytime I go shoot video. I shoot sporting events a lot so I move around during events. Moving around a full tripod is cumbersome and the single footed monopod is fine, but this Moman unit provides the best of both worlds. The tripod base helps so much when using on uneven terrain. As an added bonus it includes a rubber foot if you choose to not use the tripod base. This monopod has been versatile enough for me that for most shoots I dont even carry my other tri or monopods. I do plan to purchase the Moman tripod fluid drag pan head to add to mine. I would recommend this unit to those who want an easy monopod to use and carry.Used this monopod 4 times and now is falling apart, awful quality, avoid !
